The Posey Box FAQ

Last month, our blog detailed all of the reasons why The Posey Box is such an amazing buy. Besides our top-notch tutorials, you gain access to a wide array of resources to help you create the best paper flowers possible. You may still have questions, though, and we want to answer them! If you haven’t clicked that purchase button yet, here are some of our customers’ most asked questions:

1) Does the $20/month subscription include the live workshop and materials kit? I see that the June Rose Workshop is $125, and I’m not clear how the pieces fit together.

The $20 subscription is only to get digital access to the monthly tutorial. The $125 workshop is usually an in-person workshop in the Seattle area, but because of Covid-19, we have turned the June workshop into a virtual one. The $125 includes a personal walkthrough of the tutorial from Kate and Quynh. You’ll see the whole process and can stop us at any time to ask questions or ask us to repeat the steps again. You can show us what you are doing and we can in turn show you a better way to do that particular step. We’ll show you personal tricks and tips to make your flower better. Plus, you get the digital and a physical Workshop Posey Box Kit sent to your home before the workshop. The physical Workshop Posey Box Kit sent to you will include everything you need to make the flower at home from cutting mat to scissors, glue and so much more.

2) Is there a purchase option for all of the past workshops, or are "back issues" only available a la carte, even if I purchase a subscription going forward?

Currently, you can purchase any past digital boxes for $45. Unfortunately, physical past boxes are not available for purchase, only current or future boxes. Each monthly physical box is carefully curated to help you make the featured flower without investing in a lot of paper and supplies. We separated the digital and physical boxes because a lot of members have their own source of paper and supplies and don’t need the extra materials.

3) I like your big materials kit for getting started. Are those colors/papers intended to support the featured flowers each month, or should I expect to purchase other papers for the monthly flowers?

The Starter Box is a great way to create all of the flowers. You can easily convert any of the tutorials and use the paper that is in The Starter Box. I love German crepe paper—it's my go-to medium that I always reach for. You get all the necessary tools like scissors, glue, wires, and so much more. The Posey Physical Box directly correlates to the tutorial each month, specifically catering to the supplies that Kate and Quynh put together. It's not necessary to get the physical box each month, but it does make it easier to make the featured flower.

Hopefully, that cleared some things up for you! If not, always feel free to reach out to us. We love connecting with all of the amazing paper florists out there and answering any questions you might have.
